Lesson 1 of 12
In Progress

Welcome to Foundations of Abdominal Radiology!

Welcome to the Obi course on abdominal radiology. In this course we will be looking at the radiographic evaluation of the liver, spleen, peritoneal space, retroperitoneal space, GI tract and urogenital system. This course will help you identify the tissue of origin for abdominal masses and recognize changes in abdominal contrast due to effusion or pneumoperitoneum. You should be able to confidently evaluate foreign bodies, know when to cut for surgery and use imaging in cases of urogenital disorders.

I designed this course to be taken in the order in which the lessons are presented. However if that isn’t right for you, jump in wherever you want and come back to fill in the gaps.
